Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Geardo mobile app and related services ("Geardo"). By downloading or using Geardo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Geardo does

Geardo identifies outdoor, hunting, and tactical gear from photos, provides specifications and details, helps you compare prices from third-party retailers, and lets you organize gear into loadouts. Geardo is an informational and comparison tool. We are not a retailer and do not sell the gear shown in the app.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your region) to use Geardo. The app uses an anonymous device identifier rather than a traditional account; you are responsible for activity on your device.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Geardo offers paid subscription tiers (Base Camp, Trailblazer, and Summit). Features and limits are described in the app.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your device's account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law or the app store's policies, payments are non-refundable.

4. Gear identification disclaimer

Identifications, specifications, and other details are generated by automated AI systems and may be incomplete or incorrect. They are provided for informational purposes only. Always verify important details with the manufacturer or seller before relying on them or making a purchase.

5. Price information disclaimer

Prices and listings are gathered from third-party retailers and price-data providers and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Geardo does not guarantee that any price is current or available, and is not responsible for transactions you make with any retailer. When you tap a listing, you transact directly with that retailer under their terms.

6. Affiliate disclosure

Some outbound retailer links may be affiliate links, meaning Geardo could earn a commission if you make a purchase, at no additional cost to you. This does not influence the prices shown or their ranking.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Geardo, including: reverse engineering the app, scraping or overloading our services, using it for unlawful purposes, or attempting to bypass usage limits or subscription controls.

8. Intellectual property

Geardo and its content, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Third-party services

Geardo links to and relies on third-party services (retailers, payment processors, and data providers). We are not responsible for their content, products, or practices.

10. Disclaimers

Geardo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Geardo and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app or reliance on its information.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Geardo harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the app or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Geardo at any time if you violate these Terms or for operational reasons.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
